چکیده
ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction, stenting of the infarct-related coronary artery, silent (painless) ischemia, diabetes mellitus, 24-hour electrocardiographic monitoring.
Introduction. Currently, approximately 422 million people in world have and over 1.3 individuals Ukraine are diagnosed with mellitus. Diabetic neuropathy is known to contribute development atypical painless variants ischemic heart disease diabetes. This poses a challenge for timely diagnosis obscures course disease, as prevalence ischemia significantly high these patients. Therefore, aim this study investigate occurrence episodes patients ST-elevation infarction within first day following artery. Furthermore, we aimed demonstrate nature presence type 2 mellitus through clinical case presentation.
Materials methods. 30 were examined, monitoring was performed during after artery stenting. Results. Episodes transient registered 50% people. We found that majority (80%) painless. In only noted supported by example case. The highlighted informativeness identifying particularly its variant. results (STEMI) experience stenting, being tend be serves valuable method detection ischemia.

Silent myocardial ischemia screening in patients with diabetes mellitus.
The prevalence of diabetes mellitus is fairly increasing, especially in the developing countries. Diabetes is a major cardiovascular risk factor; it often leads to severe cardiovascular complications, and coronary artery disease (CAD) is the main cause of death in diabetic patients. Silent myocardial ischemia (SMI) is more frequent in diabetic patients. The progress made in detection and treatm...

50 patients with diabetes were compared with 20 non-diabetic subjects, with respect to the prevalence of silent myocardial ischemia, by means of treadmill exercise testing. Results of treadmill exercise testing showed ischemia in 14 of the 50 diabetic patients (mean age 49.2 * 1.3) and in 2 of 20 non-diabetic control subjects (mean age 49 * 6 y.) (28%VS lo%, P < 0.05). Diabetics with “positive ...
متن کاملKey words: silent myocardial ischemia - diagnosis and treatment, diabetes mellitus
Silent myocardial ischemia (SMI) is defined as the presence of objective evidence of myocardial ischemia in the absence of chest discomfort or other anginal equivalents. Most silent ischemic episodes occur during minimal or no physical exertion. The exact reasons for the development of angina during some episodes of myocardial ischemia and the absence of symptoms during other episodes are not k...
متن کاملFrequency of diabetes mellitus in patients with acute coronary syndrome.
BACKGROUND Diabetes mellitus is a major risk factor for atherosclerosis which eventually causes cardiovascular disease specially affecting coronary arteries. Patients with diabetes have a risk for coronary events similar to that of patients without diabetes who have already had an event, and conversely many patients with established coronary artery disease suffer from diabetes or its pre- state...
متن کاملMyocardial Ischemia/Infarction Significance of Silent Ischemia and Microalbuminuria in Predicting Coronary Events in Asymptomatic Patients With Type 2 Diabetes
OBJECTIVES The aim of this study was to investigate the relationships between future coronary heart disease (CHD) events and baseline silent myocardial ischemia (SMI) and microalbuminuria (MA) in subjects with type 2 diabetes (T2D) free from known CHD. BACKGROUND Coronary heart disease is often asymptomatic in subjects with diabetes. There is limited information on the prognostic value of SMI a...
